Born and raised in upstate New York, Jeremy received his BFA from Alfred University in 1998 and an MFA in Sculpture from West Virginia University in 2007. With over 20 years of educational experience ranging from elementary classrooms to directing a university-level sculpture program, Jeremy has been making and teaching art across all spectrums and at all levels. His love of materials and process dovetails with the understanding of how vital it is to introduce and engage students with new technology as well as traditional techniques. Entwistle’s work is an investigation into materials and processes, and how these elements coalesce in the realm of industry, structure, aesthetics, and abstraction. Jeremy and his family are currently finishing a custom home, studio, and outdoor oasis on 55 acres in the Adirondack mountains.
